This past Sunday, our family made the trek to Cummins Falls for Mother’s Day. I had heard about this place from a friend, and really wanted to go see what it was all about. I’m so glad we did. Not only did I get to experience watching my kids cross rivers, endure and succeed at challenges they had never faced, walk over boulders, and swim in a pool at the bottom of a waterfall, but I got the chance to capture much of the scenic surroundings on my camera. The lessons learned (by all of us) and the beauty of this place made for one memorable day. I’m so glad to have been able to spend my special day doing something so fun with those I love!
Here’s a little bit of what was captured through my – more recently found – love of photography.
Needless to say, if you’re ever in the Nashville area, this is a State Park I recommend adding to your sight seeing list!
Til next time,
